Until now I used my "pacman" extension to upload a zip file to the
server and unzip it there, if I had to upload multiple files to a
customers TYPO3 installation.

This way is more usable for "common" editors, but I would like to have a
flash detection, as usually I use linux, and flash isn't always
installed there, and 64-bit systems still have some trouble, as
Macromedia doesn't release "official" flash versions for amd64 / linux.

Do NOT see this rant as a veto against your change, but I would be much
happier, if there is a fallback to "traditional" file-upload if no flash
gets detected (there are quite a few "open" detector JS scripts out there).

greets,
Bernhard
