ah, i see.
But i don't understand completely where the GP-var is added. For sure it 
should be in condition to hide only if it's not set.

The next thing is the tt_news setting in pageTS
tx_ttnews.singlePid = xyz
This works but i don't found where it's done. So if i get this one too i 
come with a new patch.
