[TYPO3-core] RFC #10331: Bug: linkHandler different than "record" leads to rteerror

Hi,

after thinking again about this problem, I'd like to drop my patch for
this RFC that introduces a new hook. The hook variant cannot enter the
TYPO3_4-2 branch and thus has to be considered as feature that might go
to a separate RFC.
