[TYPO3-core] Checkbox "Disable RTE editor" removed - why?

Hi folks,

I just noticed that the checkbox to disable the RTE (was below the "Show
secondary options" checkbox) has been removed in 4.2.

Does anybody know the reason for this? I did find it pretty useful to
disable the RTE only for the current user, not just per record (which would
apply to all users otherwise).

I'm aware that the switch is still in the Setup module, but I see no reason
why it can't stay at the other place.
