I would like that too, but this is AFAIK not as trivial as we'd need to 
either
a) poll the BE for the number of documents
or
b) send an updater every time a document is opened or closed (actually 
not too hard to realize).

Anyway, I think this'd be a step 2 or 3, first I'd like to get the basic 
idea in the BE.
