just two thoughts from my side.

I think we all would agree, that rewriting TCEforms ist not trivial. So 
how about waiting for the guy (I don't kwow who it was), that wanted to 
write unit tests for TCEmain (and TCEforms I guess). Of course there are 
no garantuees, but I think with unit test in the back, it should be 
safer to reimplement this.

I'm totally with Dmitry and Steffen here. I don't see, why this patch, 
fixing important things should wait, and I also do not see why adapting 
this patch to the work Andreas intends to do is easier than the other 
way around.
