[TYPO3-core] Question concerning bug #6245: enableFields() not called in some cases

Hi!

Why is it that the Core in some places does not use enableFields for 
"pages", but uses "fixed" values for the SQL clauses. The reason is that 
WS related stuff and other stuff is handled by this. But in a note it 
says that some Core parts use enableFields('pages'). Would that be an error?

Note the comment for that hook:

// It is used by the extension ingmar_accessctrl which enables assign
ing more than one usergroup to content and page records

a) the extension is obsolete and b) this seems not the right place to 
change access control for pages (see above why).

So I wonder if something has to be done.
