[TYPO3-core] CVS Problems // Status update

Hello everyone,

I can understand that the current situation with SF.net CVS services is very 
frustrating for most of us.

But instead of overreacting and rushingly turn towards alternatives which in 
the long run might become a cul-de-sac everyone should do the maths and think 
how often the SF.net CVS service was not available for us since the end of 
2003.

Enclosed is an eMail from SF.net explaining how they are going to improve the 
CVS service starting 2006-05-12 in the afternoon (their local time). Please 
read the attached eMail carefully.

The most important thing which affects our work is that the repository name 
will change.

The syntax will be PROJECT_UNIX_NAME.cvs.sourceforge.net.

This requires every developer to chekout a new working copy of the CVS modules 
he/she works on.
