[TYPO3-core] RFC: Bug in tslib_content.

seems this patch is not reviewed yet.

Hmm. indexed_search 3.8 is also broken if you try to use it with the version
3.7. I see nothing wrong with that.

I think that instead of writing workarounds, we should fix the real problem
instead. Suggestion:

- Add a warning to the admin intro page if an extension overrules a shipped
  version which is more recent.
- Additionally, the EM should provide a feature to easily remove the version
  without having to remove it first.
