I think as this detection is a quite huger change (IM image type autodectection) it would
be better to separate those patches and see the latest one (fix of unifyColors (!!! important),
fix that $conf['ext'] didn't get respected, some @unlink fixes, A unused variable (theMask2))
on it's own.

I really would like to commit this one and the utf-8 BE cshItem Fix really soon so it ends up
in beta3.

If we add gdlib_png (possibly internal_ext) auto detection can get decided if it's sure that
there are no other problems (I don't have time to fix a lot of problems AND implement new features :(
