I also experienced this.

Isn't there a way to create a copy of the bugtracker and test new mantis versions
before they get "online".

And not that only you Michael (Hirdes) should test it. We should get a link to the
test-version of the bugtracker and could have tried to use it ....

I'm sure this search bug would have get noticed if we tried it more intensive before.

Just some toughts for future upgrades ....
