[Typo3-bugs] 3.8 branch raised / further steps

Hi Bugfixers!

I have just tagged TYPO3_3-8-0rc1 in CVS and introduced the branch TYPO3_3-8.

This means that we now have a feature freeze - there will be no additional 
features in TYPO3 3.8 than we have now.

The bugtracker has got a new TYPO3-version-category "3.8.0rc1" and all open 
bugs of 3.8.0beta2 have been moved to this.
If you find any "bugs" in this category which are actually feature requests, 
please move them to 3.8.0-dev.

My original plan/wish was that all remaining bugs in the 3.8.0rc1 category 
(currently 36) would be fixed in 3.8.0 - which is almost impossible I guess.

So what I suggest now is that anybody of you who wants to fix any open bugs 
will let me know that he's working on it.
Additionally I will listen for the feedbacks of 3.8.0rc1 and - if people don't 
find any important bugs - release 3.8.0 on next Thursday!

If anybody of you has fixed a bug but does not have CVS access for committing 
it, please again drop me a mail and I'll look at it.

Still hoping to get 10-15 more bugs fixed in 3.8.0 ...
