Sorry for the off topic here, but is there a specific reason you use 
bit.ly links in the newsgroup? These may be helpful in twitter, but I 
personally find them annoying in contexts where space is not a problem.

The above link redirected me to:
http://bugs.typo3.org/view_all_bug_page.php

But I couldn't check that before because Thunderbird cannot expand it 
(which several twitter clients do and the twitter ui does).
