Man this was a mission, but finally completed:

Call of
/* @var $persistenceManager Tx_Extbase_Persistence_Manager */
$persistenceManager = 
t3lib_div::makeInstance('Tx_Extbase_Persistence_Manager');
         $persistenceManager->persistAll();

at the very end of the class does the job!
