Hello Katja,
I do not think this can happen. The orders are always created as deleted
in the table sys_products_orders. You cannot insert 2 records with the
same uid there.
And when the email is sent to the customer it will be also sent to the
admin. Only if the customer interrupts the PHP script during the
execution, then the email to the admin might not be sent.
