Thanks Franz & Bernd!

I got it working - but I had to resort to the normal 'category as 
record'-setup. Does the missing 'advanced'-pagetype mean that there's no 
way to set up pages as categories? While custom tables in the 
page-module provide a reasonable overview, I think pages as categories 
is more userfriendly than the current solution when you have many products.

Are there any alternative rendering methods? Would be cool if you could 
set up a parent->child relationship e.g.

Product category 1
|
|--- product belonging to category 1
|--- another product belonging to category 1

like you could with the 'pages as categories'-setting back in the 
pre-4.2 days
