[TYPO3-shop] error after install

Dear List,

After I have installed tt_products in a typo3 4.0.1 enviroment, I get 
the following error on *all* pages on the frontend:

failed to open stream: No such file or directory in

*uninstalling the plugin doesn't fix this, only after removing it from 
the server this error dissapears.

I can't imagine that such a widely used plugin can give these errors? 
Have I missed a dependency? (fhlibrary?)
