Instead of storing something into a table it would be better to use the
order tracking number. The customer will get the link to a page with all
available downloads. If he wants to see his recently bought software he
has to enter the oder tracking number. After the use of this number it
will only remain valid for e.g. one day to continue the download. There
is no cronjob necessary when the tt_products extension handles the
tracking number. The login could be restricted to a time period after
the first login with this tracking number and the number of started
downloads.


The user could copy the downloaded software to his friends anyways.
