This is a great point Mark. I've been lurking and watching this
discussion for the past couple of days and thought it time to put my two
cents worth in.
Every customer wants something different - pricing, groups, categories,
specials and the list goes on.
What would be nice is to have hooks to get at these things.
I also have been working to get tt_products right for my store, so far I
have:
*4 levels of pricing for different usergroups
*set up (via access settings) to force people to register as fe_users
(they think they are giving invoice details)
* specials (from zk_products)
* a mini basket (html hack) giving a list of basket products for display
on the same page as the product list
*xml output for payment gateway <http://eway.com.au>
I have lots more on my wish list such as:
*selecting multiple products with quanties send to the basket with one
click.
*Shipping based on country select
*gift certificates
I am also wondering whether this discussion would be better on typo3
wiki pages. Each feature could get its own discussion and development page.
