[TYPO3-ttnews] Display localized article when default element is hidden

Hi.

Is it possible to hide a tt_news article in the default language and still 
show a localized version of it. Currently when the 'parent' is hidden, all 
localizations disappear. I COULD set up tt_news to work with seperate 
languages using 'showNewsWithoutDefaultTranslation' but then the 
localization feature for other BE-users is gone...
