[TYPO3-ttnews] Translated news - problem with "Related"

I have news in different languages.
Relating a news to another works, so does the translation.
Switching from German to English switches to the English translation of the 
related news.
But if there is no translation for the related news, instead of showing 
nothing, the title and link to the single page of the related news is shown.
How to suppress that ?

plugin.tt_news.sys_language_mode = strict
plugin.tt_news.showNewsWithoutDefaultTranslation = 1

are set.

plugin.tt_news.getRelatedCObject.10.default >

helps - but removes everything but external links.
