[TYPO3-ttnews] tt_news.limit & tt_news.latestLimit has no effect

Hello List,

has anyone successfully used the Options

plugin.tt_news.limit = 4
plugin.tt_news.latestLimit = 4

in context with TIMTAB?

It doesn´t work for me wheter in Constants or in Setup in the 
TypoScript-Template
nor in the Settings of the Plugin as Content Element.

I just wanna get listed only 4 News-Items ... but it shows always 10 Items.
Default value in static tt_news template is 5 ??????

Any Help would be perfect.
