I know this has been addressed in further posts but I will let you know how I handle it right now.

My assumption is that you want to make only certain templates available in some sites but not in others. Also, this will only be helpful if it is all right for your users to only see the TO and not the DS.

1) in the EM have "Enable data structure selection" unchecked. This will mean the users will only see the templates and not the DSs.
2) Have separate GSRPs for the sites and move the TOs you want for each site into its respective GRSP. If you have a TO that you want in more than one site then duplicate it and put a copy in each site (they still share a common DS).

Anyway, that is how we handle it in the TemplaVoila Framework. I will be giving a short webinar on August 3 and repeating it on August 5 showing this very thing.
