[TYPO3-templavoila] (newbie) backup/restore/create TV site?

Hello,

after reading FTB as well as TV manual and searching this list archives, 
I still have a question:


how can I create a backup copy of a TV template? After all the mapping 
and all manual editing of XML has done? So I can restore it from the 
backup in case something went wrong.


If the backup can be saved in SVN as a text file, the better.


The only solution I see now is mysqldump :)
