[TYPO3-Solr] how to display tt_news items with thumbnails?

hem... I did it.. not a very conventionnal way:

I use .htaccess to detect an addition to the picture filename, then redirect to a php script... and this script makes a thumbnail if it doesn't exists already, or serves it on the fly
