HI Oliver, 

yesterday I was working on indexing the tx_news_domain_model_news table with the included configuration from the ext. I had to alter it, to be specific, I had to remove the SOLR_RELATION for news.fields.content, because it was looking for a field "content_elements" which isn't available in the tx_news table. So my guess is, that the provided extension configuration was used in combination with some other extension for indexing news. Even the included typoscript didn't work out of the box. 
So there is no "best practice", or recommended way for indexing pages and their contents so far?
