[TYPO3-Solr] Solr instance under different name

Hi all,

On my server I already have a Solr instance under /opt/apache-solr/solr. 
Now I'd like to use the latest version for a different website without 
changing the current. I tried the info on Forge [1] but couldn't find 
dataDir in directory resources/solr/typo3cores/conf/solrconfig.xml

Is the info in Forge still valid or do I need to look elsewhere?
