[TYPO3-irre] New Content Rendering Concept ICE - partly based on IRRE

Hi folks.

At the T3DD07 in Dietikon I will present a new concept of individual content
elements (short ICE).

It's offering one of the things that where on Oliver's ToDo list:
It injects IRRE into tt_content making inline creating and editing of
content elements available in so called ICE boxes. ICE boxes can be rendered
as usual, or as containers with nested elements or using an individual HTML
template with some simple subparts as placeholder for up to 20 elements.

Additionally the ICE pack contains some other extensions that will add new
ICE elements to the set of available content elements. Those elements are
"one field" elements like header, text, image and others that can be
combined to more complex elements by placing them into an ICE boxes. Each
element will keep the usualy enable fields, so you can manage them
separately by startdate, enddate, fe_group and others.

So an ICE Box can be a block of images, or a header plus three different
text blocks plus a subheader plus a table ... you can imagine the rest.

Since you can nest ICE Boxes even combinations of combined elements are
possible and when you copy an ICE Box the inline elements will be copied as
well (even with nested ICE Boxes).

So you can have a dummy set of predefined individual content elements that
can be recycled by the editors wherever they like.

If you are at the T3DD07 feel free to join the "ICE pack" talk which will be
the starting one in the "Extension Room" at friday.

See you in Dietikon

Joey
