Lars is right with the UPDATE in the dropdown. The Caretaker Server needs TYPO3 4.3 or later and the caretaker_instance can be used with TYPO3 4.0 or later.

seems to work with 4.2, 4.4. and 4.5 (I don´t have any 4.3 installation).

Choose "UPDATE!" from the dropdown-menu to generate keys.
