[TYPO3-caretaker] backend module "Caretaker Overview" does not appear

Hello Mailinglist,

I trie to get involved with the caretaker extension and have some beginner
problems.
 After installing and configuring the caretaker extension i've created a few
records in the sysfolder as described in the tutorial.
at the next point I went to the caretaker->overview backend module, but
nothing happend. No page tree apeared.

I've also created some plugins, but in FE i got the message "no node found"
or "no node ID found". But i was not wondering about that, in fact of the
not proper working backend module.

After debugging for a while i found out that there are a few files created
in  "/typo3temp/compressor/tx.caretaker.*" but they are all empty. So i
think this is the problem, cause the BE module run into js errors, but this
is not surprising with empty files.

But here i'm stopped, i've explanation for this effect ore how to solve
this.
