[TYPO3-performance] page shows 'loading' at bottom and...

I'm developing my first typo3 website...

since some time now (I did not notice what caused it) the pages display 'loading' at the bottom, but this does not show up if I look at the source in the browser...

further do I have to refresh the pages with F5 before a page shows up decently after being chosen in the menu...

does anyone have an idea what might cause this ?
