+1, I also think this is the way to go.

Asking for more guidance by the t3a, is just another way of asking it to do
a part of your local marketing job. I think it is part of TYPO3's success,
that it is communicated by many local voices in local tongues befitting
their market place.

That said, I have no reservations against other language versions of .com
(not .org, english should remain our development language) than English and
German, if they are pure translations.
