Hi,

Not that I know of?! t3brand doesn't forego marketing issues in that sense
and the planning and activity part is not here yet as well. I guess I need
to explain that one a little bit more?

> So now we have to put things into action.

I am afraid there is lots of planning needed as well.

The idea was to spend the funds of the association primarily on development
issues, I thought that is also what everybody expected. It certainly is what
the Association was founded for and has been talking about all along.

Well, this was an idea at the last snowboard tour, to hold 3-4 meetings per
year. Anyway, I personally don't _need_ that marketing meeting.

I just don't think there is lot happening with TYPO3 marketing in many areas
and since the Association (and much less me alone) is able to tackle that
task, I thought that it would be nice to ask if the community would like to
make a fresh start in that area.

>> Which Output will be produced?

> Definition of target groups and possible solutions how to "tackle" them ...

My first shot would be, that the meeting could serve to find out what could
be done together, that the consultancies can not do themselves.
For example market research, or press communication, or TYPO3.com content,
or TYPO3Live, or demo.typo3.com, product comparisons...

>> Who will be able to use the output.
> Everybody who is into marketing TYPO3 related products and services.

Exactly.

>> And so on.
>>
>> I am quite confused about all those actions...
> Don't know where the problem is.
> Daniel asked for a meeting and I offered to organize a location.
> What's so confusing about that?

It was so nice and quiet here before :-)

Cheers

Daniel
