Hello Joey,

I'm a subscriber to the Typo3 marketinglist and was following your discussion
regarding the auction on eBay. I was also the one that was bidding for the
typo3 page yesterday and therefor it was no pricepusher but me. I don't even
know the guy offering the pages.
I think that maybe you should let the next one slip and maybe even the ones
after that. I will till you why that seems a good idea to me. I am interested
for a long time in Typo3, I've been experimenting with it a lot, but
due to the
fact that I'm not all that technical and do not have the time and money
to learn
all the ins and out I stopped using it. I think that there are hundreds of
people like me around that like the idea of Typo3 but don't have the money and
knowledge to use it.
The way this guy offers it, is a way to let people sniff at a genuine
typo3 page
for a small amount of money. So therefore I think that Typo3 would
benifit from
letting the auctions go and even promote them to get more people into
using the
great software.
In my opinion it could turn out a far better marketing instrument then
the logo
redesign or stashes of white papers.

I'm wondering what your opinion is on this.

Kind regards,

Sipke
