You are right, and in fact I also think the official language should be
english. But for a couple of reasons in some areas we will have the problems
with a different language, e.g. german.
The association is locate din switzerland. I bet 100.- EUR that the official
court language there is "Switzerdütsch", (aka "sort of german"; I write sort of,
because I already stumbled into something which is specific to this language
and I misunderstood it.) anyway: If we can live with it that there will be a
translation to english then I think we are on the right track.
Same with the book: If three other native language people would have written
it, it would have been in their language assuming, that the market is big
enough. For 3 german speaking it is "natural" to write such a book first in
german, assuming that the book will be sold enough if written in german.
So there is also a translation ongoing as stated somewhere.
Last but not least: Some documentations on EXT. I really do not know how
to cope with this. We should find a solution on that. But stating that this
is "not good (to put it mildly)" is IMHO to to less as it does not give
an idea on how to work on this. I stumbled over a french documentation, so
as I cannot read french this EXT is not for me, but it seems that I will
find someone to have it installed for me, as it looks good. So the problem
exists for "non english" which would be more "accurate" than "german"...
And, yes you are right, we should find a solution on this.
have fun
