Hi Kari,

I think you are right that the massive german influence and some of the
ignorance that comes with it is a bad thing. I want to ask you to
acknowlegde that in some cases, probably even most, people have written in
german, because they could not do it in english.

This is exactly the situation with edu and gov. I thought that it is
acceptable as long as everything will be translated to english later on.

In the end, the real reason is that no one volunteered to make these
resources who had the background to do it in english directly.

I think we can live with that as a community as long as we get important
stuff translated at some point.

I understand that your criticism about a middle-european perspective is
valid, since your education system is decidedly different to ours (and much
better according to PISA), but that is still to be fixed when the english
version is up.

All else is personal frustration, which i understand, but it is also no dead
end.
