I don't see this solving the problems
1.) You get somehow incorrect data 
 a.) people deny cookies that are longer kept than for the session
 b.) People do not have javascript enabled in companies.
So in my opinion you lose accurat data.
On another thing: What do we have to lose if we just use another tool
as an addition?
