[Typo3-marketing] News feeding and references

As stated previously, I think one of the area that needs better care of is
CMS shoot-out/comparisons web sites.
(Ex: www.cmsreview.com , www.cmsinfo.org , www.opensourcecms.com)

Usually it's free advertising and people can evaluate the health of the
community/support from these.

Last April when I was looking for a CMS, those sites didn't really made
TYPO3 glow.

One of the inherent problem of TYPO3 is that version are not produced often
since extensibility and features are added by "externals" extensions.

If each extension was a feature added to the "product" as most software
does, we could produce a new TYPO3 version every month and being at 3.5.14 !
(with a press release for every decimal!)

The point is that a release a year doesn't look good for someone
"not-in-the-know".

How to handle this perception ? Produce news once a great features-rich
extension see the light ? Who will judge ? How to not offend someone who
think has a great extension and no ones care ? I just don't know but I think
some energy can be applied on this field.

My 2 canadian cents... (about 1.19 cents Euro)
