[Typo3-marketing] Typo3 - Overall Communication Structure and Brand Protection

Hello

Interested for many reasons in typo3, I follow and read some of the various
communication threads, mailing lists and study various typo3 sites since a
few time. My point of view is always from a customer's point of view or more
precisely, from the customer of the customer = consumer.

Questions and Thoughts:
1. I can't find a clear and understandable domain structure. Many sites,
"official" (.org and .com) and unofficial one's, with a lot of content. Does
a stringent and end-to-end structure exists in terms of domains, sub domains
AND content? - Not only IT- and Web maniacs might be interested in a CMS.
Sometimes decision makers in private / business or public sector base their
decisions also onto visible first sight reliability and seriousness.
1.1 What is the general image within in the different target groups of Typo3
and its core people? Is it: Highly skilled, creative, innovative, crazy,
cool and socially engaged. And: don't make blabla but act. - At least this
was my personal impression.
1.2. Do you have different communication target groups or objectives? - At
least I wasn't able to recognize myself in an easy and first sight view,
regardless which (consumer) role I have played. But might be I'm just too
stupid.
2. Are visual disabled persons respected? (= Accessibility vs. "Design".
See: http://www.oag.state.ny.us/press/2004/aug/aug19a_04.html Note:
Represent approx. 8-10% of population.) I haven't recognized this topic in
your index of the association. Usability only. Nor it has been demonstrated
to me on one of the "official" Typo3 domains.
3. As Typo3 is the only CMS what I have found, using
"One-tree-fits-all-languages" (as a Swiss guy living on the Swiss German -
French language border, I just love it, because it offers multilingual /
multicultural possibilities for communication in an easy way), I'm asking
myself, why you don't use this strength actively? It is not even used for
the "official" Typo3 sites.
4. Is Typo3 protected as a brand? If so, registered in which country under
which classes? Who owns it?
4.1. Are the various Typo3 domains under serious control (= fully owned) of
the Typo3 Association or of Kasper? Or, are they owned by individuals? If
so, what will happen in cases of e.g. bankruptcy of these individuals or if
they get mad one day?

I know, might be not the best way to introduce myself to you, but honest and
a little bit caring ;-) Why? - Why not!

Best regards and many whishes for your future way to go.

Seasons Greetings

Andreas

Note: These Questions and thoughts are not to start a discussion nor an
arguing process with me for the moment. You take it or.... ;-)
