I'm excited by this as well. I'm working on a prototype project with the
Dept. of Education that is Moodle/TYPO3 based. They had already chosen
Moodle but are finding TYPO3 to be easier to use and more extensive than
Moodle. If we had more time, we might build some LMS tools into T3. Just
depends on the time factor as usual. ;)

This is such a good point. Lately, we've been getting customers where we've
had to go in and clean up a big mess from a previous developer. On one hand,
it's been good for business, but on the other hand, as Sander points out,
it's bad for TYPO3's reputation and that's my main concern. I'd like to see
pretty strict certification processes (better to be strict from the start)
and renewal policies.
