Traffic went down within like 5 or 6 weeks to "normal average".
On the mailinglists, traffic is increasing: When we changed to the new
listserver, the english list had about 700 subscribers. Now we've got nearly
1000 while a lot of people move over to the news server. There is no chance
to measure how many people are using the news-server...

And the load on typo3.com skyrocketed. Not a bad effect.
As I already wrote to Michael, the comments don't count.
The point is to get TYPO3 in the news.
And this is definitely good news.
