Generally the contents could be anything that is linking into the site, but
the problem is how to generate a steady flow of news. Who is writing them?
I think there are only a few people knowing enough of what is going on.

All of the above, except may be the gallery thing built on top of DAM unless

Georg and Dominic have volunteered to take a shot, but it is a lot of text
so more people are welcome.

This subject, namely the performance and scalability issue needs to be
adressed and the LPE solution would help us much in that respect.
Let's hope someone has a project powerful enough for this soon.
