[Typo3-linux] Urgent help for a typo3 noob!

Hello all,

A first post to this list.

Gentoo Linux running apache 2.0.52,
dynamic virtual hosting.

We got a new customer who brought his website which uses typo3 3.7.0.
No any experience with that, after hours of unlucky trials I cannot
do it with no help. So please! Let me know the fastest way to get
that up and running.

The matter is urgent: they want me having this up and running
before 14:00 EET :-/

Do I have to go the long way and install the site as described
in the "Installing typo3 on Gentoo"?

Can I just drop the typo3_src package somewhere and symlink to it?

ANY help is more than appreciated!
