[Typo3-linux] Suse vs. Debian - any tips or experiences?

hi list,

i have to choose between suse and debian for a new typo3-server, which 
will host many domains and different typo-sites.
i know, that each distribution can work fine with typo and i usualy 
would take debian, but in my company there are more reasons to use suse.

now i want to know, if there are any disadvantages of using suse as 
server. maybe some of you have some good or bad experiences, so it makes 
it easier for me to choose.

is the site-installer for example also available to suse? Or what about 
the performance ...
