Hi again

Resolved. Thanks for the tip. Some testing on my local linux-box revealed
that the problem was related to the open_basedir setting.

This is what the install-tool told me:
open_basedir=/hsphere/local/home/salvatio:/var/tmp:/tmp:/usr/local/lib/php

/usr/local/bin/ should be included. I'll talk to my provider.
