[Typo3-linux] T3: "Requested page does not exist"

Which files? In the normal case, nothing needs to be renamed!

So you create new Typo3 sites directly through MySQL?! ;-)
I just wonder why you check this there?!

Check this:
- does the install tool report a working connection to the DB?
- did you import the static tables?
- phpinfo()
