[TYPO3-english] TYPO3 4.5 => 6.2 (DAM => FAL + tt_news => news + TV => grid_elements)

Hi,

I'm working on a update from 4.5 to 6.2 with TV, DAM and tt_news.

Are there any recommendations how to proceed ?

I found these:
- smoothmigration
- we_dam2fal62
- dam_falmigration 
- news_ttnewsimport

I started with the "smoothmigration" and then with the "dam_falmigration". Installed news and started the "news_ttnewsimport".

I had to create the missing table "tx_news_domain_model_category" else I got an ajax error, but none of the categories got transferred (not even in the "sys_category").

Once all was done, I didn't get exactly the same amount of news between the two ("tt_news" and "news") and some had wrong images referenced to.

So I am wondering if I should change the process and start with another order or if there is anything I have missed ?
