depends on what you really want:

If you want your editors to do FE-Editing, then you can set up interfaces 
in the install tool, and set default to frontend.

If you just want to make it simpler to find the login, then you can set 
up a link to  http://your-site.example.org/typo3. The backend will be 
loaded nevertheless.

If you want certain FE-users to perform some BE-task, the you might want 
to try an extension called simulatebe (spelling might differ).
