Dimitry (my answer is for TYPO3 generally speaking, not you as expert,
as your skills are not in discussion),
it is easy not to "complain, but to "compare" with a lot of technical
other forums, documentation and mailing lists.
I'm attending a lot of other sites and mailing lists, and I feel TYPO3
documentation and support system to be one of the worst.
I love this CMS, but the weakness of documentation and support cannot be
hidden (excluding bug tracking system, which is good).
TYPO3 (probably the best open source CMS) has tons of completely useless
documentation, which makes it even more harder to use it than having no
documentation. 90% of TYPO3 documentation has no sense. A light and well
tought documentation would help much more all users.
Some excellent articles or introduction papers (i.e. WEC articles), or
extension supports are available, but outside of TYPO3 official site,
and of course with no coordination among them.
This mailing list answer usually only to dumb requests, avoiding any
question which can be a little bit deeper, and the level of "touchiness"
is very very high.
This mailing list looks like a "home" mailing list.
I really miss a "Pro" mailing list for TYPO3.
It would be nice to rethink documentation and support systems.
Best regards,
Tonino
