I afraid you confuse "Inspiring people to share" with:
- can spam as much as you want
- can write our product name with all possible errors
- need not to bother to read recommendations on using mailing lists
- community must be tolerant to all above

It is not the same. Intent to inspire does not mean tolerance to everything. When somebody comes to the community, he should respect certain rules. It will not be ok to post sex photos here. And it is not ok to call TYPO3 as "Typo 3" because it is disrespect to the system and its developers. It is probably easy for you to see "Typo 3" because you did not put hours of your own night time making features available to everybody for free. But I belive that developers of the system earned at least this: calling the system properly as a sign of respect to their hard work for other's use. Remember: many developers do not get anything in return. And calling their creation with a wrong name is a clear disrespect.

I do not force my views on anybody though.
